Central New Jersey Adult Soccer League
Welcome to the website of the Mercer County Amateur Masters Soccer League (MCAMSL). We are an adult soccer league that plays competitive, outdoor, recreational soccer in Mercer County, New Jersey.
We have an over-30 men's division that plays Sunday mornings, and over-40 men's division that plays weeknights from September through November and from late March to early June. Format is 11 v 11 with two 40 minutes halves on full size soccer fields with professional referees.
Although we draw players mostly from Mercer County, we welcome all players and teams willing to make the weekly trek. We are looking to expand our league with additional players, teams and divisions.
If Mercer County is too far South for you, check out the Tri-County Soccer League along the I-78 and I-287 corridors in NJ. Also, see summer soccer opportunities.

League costs are split by teams as a whole. Jerseys are not purchased by the League, but by each team separately. Each season's fee is $1000 per team. A $200 deposit is required three weeks before the start date. Team fees include official fees, field rentals, insurance, and other administrative expenses. If expenses exceed expectations, teams will be responsible for splitting the extra costs later in the season.
GOALKEEPERS
We recognize that a good goalkeeper is the difference between winning and losing, and as such, we've relaxed the age-restriction on keepers as follows:
- Our Men's Over-30 Division allows goalkeepers age 21 and over.
- Our Men's Over-40 Division allows goalkeepers age 30 and over.
SUMMER SOCCER
Although our league does not currently plan to have a summer session, other summer leagues are organizing. Check out....

Although our men's divisions do allow women, we currently only have 1 on the roster in the over-30 division, and none in the over-40 division. We also recommend the following:

We do not currently offer an open division for players under the age of 30 (unless you are goalkeeper), so we recommend contacting:
END OF 2007/2008 FALL/SPRING OUTDOOR SEASON
Congrats to Premier FC who bested defending champions Amici Milano to win the Over-30 Spring Tournament. Premier also won the regular season without losing a single match in 14 outings!
Congrats to Hopewell who bested Cranbury in the finals of the Over-40 Spring Tournament and to Cranbury for going undefeated in the Spring Season.
The Board has decided to continue having 2 officials on the field for both divisions. The increased cost has been worth the better coverage for offsides infractions and fouls.
The incumbent officers were re-elected with Kirk LeCompte serving as Board President, Ben Letson as Treasurer, and Michael Donnelly as Secretary. Mark Cannulli and Chris Sullivan were named co-chairs of the Recruiting Committee and plan to organize an August recruiting session for potential new players in both divisions.
We owe a great deal of thanks to the many volunteers who keep this league going - especially the Board and the Captains. Their tireless, unpaid, often unseen efforts are equal to the their outstanding play on the field. Thanks!
